Lessons in Decision and Action
To be honest, the past few years hadn’t been great for me. I felt empty and lost. I was contented but I wasn’t truly happy.
Knowing what I know now, I’m not surprised. I was afraid of wanting more, that would be greedy of me. What if I were punished for even thinking of wanting more!
How wrong I had been!
So in January 2017, I decided I’ll have the best year ever! I had clarity, not of the outcome but KNOWING that this will BE my BEST YEAR EVER.
I believed it with my heart. So far, everything is on point.
But it wasn’t always like that.
I’d wasted almost 10 years searching to fill the emptiness in my heart.
Don’t get me wrong, I have a loving husband and two wonderful children.
Yet, I wanted something more, a feeling that I wasn’t simply taking up space in the whole scheme of things. I want to play a part that goes beyond my family and loved ones.
My biggest problem was not having clarity. I was searching for answers to an unknown question!
The whole trouble with this is, even if the answer had showed up, I would not have recognised it.
It wasn’t in my consciousness.
As I learned through my journey, without clarity of sight, I kept running into recurring painful situations.
That’s life’s way of teaching its lessons. Hard lessons of life.
If you keep running into the same painful circumstances, stop! Ask yourself what lesson life is teaching you. There’s no point in avoiding this question. It will come back again so don’t waste any more time and energy circling the issue.
If this article has touched you, and you want to stop the cycle, book a call and let’s have a chat.
Personal discovery, like happiness, is a journey. As Wayne Dyer said: “When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way.”
Whichever point you are in your life, you’re bound to want answers.
If you want to identify the question, I know exactly how to help you. Will you give yourself the chance?
